MessageExport is an add-in for Microsoft Outlook that lets you save Outlook email to PDF, and many other formats.

MessageExport provides several options for handling email file attachments during PDF export.

Outlook E-mail to PDF Export Options:

• Embed email and attachments within a PDF file so they can be extracted and edited later.
• Convert email and attachments into the PDF image (Office Documents, images, text files, etc). If a file cannot be be converted to an image, it will be embedded within the PDF.
• During email conversion to PDF, extract file attachments to a folder.
• Save many emails and attachments to a single PDF file.
• Create a PDF of the email, and extract all attachments to a folder.

Can MessageExport Handle E-mails With E-mail File Attachments?

MessageExport can handle recursive e-mails. For example if you have an e-mail that has an attachment that is also e-mail, such as a .msg or .eml file, MessageExport can process them into the PDF document. This is a feature that is rare among email-to-PDF conversion software.

Can Email be Exported to PDF Automatically?

Yes. MessageExport has a timer function will automatically apply an export profile against a set of folders you select. You can set the timer to run as often as you like. New emails in the folder can be converted to PDF, copied to a different directory, or procesed in a myriad of ways.

MessageExport supports the conversion of the following document types into the PDF file:

• doc, and docx*
• xls, xlsx*
• ppt, pptx*
• html
• mht
• txt
• pdf
• eml
• raster

*Requires Office 2007 sp1 or later. If not present documents are not converted, but will be included within the PDF file as attached documents.
